We have finished our first test this week. Most of kids did it very well. They are so eager to know their performance, I therefore have passed the test to let them know their score. I would like to pass the tests for your reference, however there are sill some students haven't completed the test. That's why I cannot send the test paper back today. I will try to give the test back to them next Monday.  

In addition, the homework this week is only reviewing W6 vocabulary for next week quiz.  The words in W6 are quite easy to them. I mean to make them have a break after the first monthly test. The coming long holiday is expected by  all of us.  So please just relax and be joyful.  May all of you have a big and nice rest in these days.

Quite a hot day today! The lucky thing is our kids don't be impacted by the temperature and concentrate on their studying.  We focus on reviewing KK the weakest part before the test.  I really expect they can get the point and emphasis.

By the way, I passed the vocabulary reviewing test and listening test to them for checking their score. I collect the tests back and will give them later. About these two tests the performance of most kids match our expectation.  If they can keep going, I believe they will get a satisfied result.

We are going to have our first monthly test next Tuesday. The pupils and I  have started the reviewing for it. Most of them have improved a lot; however some of the kids are still struggle. They do need more time for studying this weekend. Next week we will also focus on practicing for this exam.

After a night of typoon growling, we went through it peacfully. I sincerely hope all of you are safe.

Because we have a day off for cleaning our houses, we therefore are goingto be short of one day of reviewing as planned. We'll try our best to catch up tomorrow.

By the way, you may find a wrong spelling on vocabulary list. "barber" has been misplaced "barer". We have corrected it in class. If the kids didn't notice that, please help them. You have my great thanks.

Tomorrow we'll have our voc reviewing test which should be done today if the schedule is ok. Thus please encourage the kids memory the words. I look forward to seeing them have a great performance on the test.

From next week we are going to review the content we have gone through these weeks.  If there is still some sections we haven't finished, we will wrap it up. We have arranged some reviewing tests for them to make sure they have known. The schedule is listed below. I also stick a paper copy on kids' communication book to be your reference.

The kids are looking forward having B.B.Q. with family members and friends. I believe all of us will have a nice holiday.

Good day, everyone ~

Yesterday I passed the weekly test back to the kids. I hope all of you have seen the result. Unfortunately they didn't do good on this quiz. The weakest parts are vocabulary memory and KK.
Therefore we will place the similar questions on tomorrow quiz. I sincerely hope that they will study harder for these two sections.  If they any questions, please do ask them to ask me. I am so willing to help them individually.

The other thing I would like to mention is some of our kids always forget finish their homework on time. It really influence their learning. I cannot be sure that they have understood or not. It makes me worried. Although the kids should take the responsibility for themselves, parents check their communication books to make sure they have done their word will be great help.

Last weekend two of our six graders joined the speech competition of Taipei City. I am so happy that both of them had brilliant performance and got excellent prizes at the end. We encourage kids do the performance in public. This will make them not only command this language well but also make them have confidence speaking in front of people. So we are going to have conversation performance in class next week again. I believe I will have lots of things I can share with you by that time.

Moon Festival is coming~

Time flies~ We have finished our third week.
This week we went through some reading, conversation, and grammar. About the grammar learning they have getting better on recognizing and using countable and uncountable nouns. They also commend the conversation and reading well. The long part I worried is KK and phonics learning.
Although they have well known these symbols, it's hard to them to convert the sounds into letters. But I got to say honestly, the KK is not so hard as we think. If they can practice more, they will find the trick. I sincerely hope the parents can encourage them to review at home.

In addition, please make sure your kid has prepared a L file. We are going to use it for collecting our quiz sheets.

This weekend will be a sunny holiday. Hope all of you will enjoy it!
