We just finished our second week. The children have improved. I can tell they try hard on their studying.  Starting from this semester, I require that each one has to prepare two notebooks, one for daily vocabulary test and the other for taking note. If you would like to know their performance, please ask them to bring the notebooks back.
 
These two weeks we have done Let's Go Unit 7. Most of the kids can recite and memory the main conversation in heart. I will keep encouraging them.

Today is the first day of this semester. I'm glad to see all of the children back to school. This semester is the last semester to kids in XinMin. I really expect them to have a joyful and substantial semester.

In this half year, we are going to experience sense verbs, inking verbs, and present perfect tense. Therefore the variability of verbs will be very important on this stage. We will also review KK and phonics for checking their learning. This semester is quite short. Mid test will in the beginning of April, and final will at the tend of May. However I still have lots of things would like to share with them.  We will seize the time and hope that we will have a wonderful semester.

Although we have started our work today, I still would like to say......

At the end of the semester everything goes so fast. We have done Vocabulary and Listening exams this week. The performance on vocabulary is not so good as our expectation. However the scores of most students are quite good on listening test. In the coming week we are going to face the final written one. I do give them more reviews and directions for reviewing. Please encourage them to have more detailed studying.

Today is winter solstice which is one of the most important solar terms in Taiwan. Although it's so hot today, we still would like to eat "tangyuan", suffered rice dumpling, for celebrating. I sincerely hope you and your family will have a happy reunion night.  

What a cold week! You must suffer fro the low temperature these days. However today it seems get warmer. How about go out and enjoy the night with us. The children are ready and look forward your coming. I hope we'll have a great night together.
